Well, having made a very few brushes myself, I know it CAN work for GIMP. it just takes a few steps to get it working. Also, having never used photoshop, I don't know if it's possible there, but in GIMP, one can not edit a brush such as this, once loaded in the brushes folder, and rotate the brush shape. You'd have to take the file, open it, rotate the image, and create what GIMP would see as a different brush entirely (even if all you did was rotate it say... 45 degrees or so.) But you CAN incorporate them. Thank you for these, I'll see how well they work with the image I'm working on, and if you wish, I'll link you to it as well. Thank you.
