Tutorial - How to shade - How to color hair by Katikut Tutorial - How to shade - How to color hair by Katikut
I've received several notes and comments about my shading method (wich is the same for lights). Here"s a video tutorial explaining my method.

Sorry about the mistakes, please click the link below to go on my livestream channel and see the video :)

It works with a lot of Photoshops;.. CS, CS2, .... CS5... :)

I discover how to do a couple of things like you do a few days ago by myself, so watching how to do it like that was great! :D Thanks for the vid :aww:

When I try this, my line art disapears o_O;
Am I doing something wrong?
My line art is the top layer, my colouring layer is underneath it and blank.
I hold Alt and click in between the two layers.

The line as to be underneath, and the color layer on the top. :)

Every layer that you'll put on the top pile with ALT will appear only if there's something on the main layer (at the bottom). It's normal that everything disappears if you have nothing on the main layer. :)

I watched your live stream again, brilliant artwork-
though I am starting to think that the 'alt' method is for just for shading.
Thanks a bunch!

J'ai beaucoup aimé la légèreté de ce tutoriel (Want to know my method for hair ?
